At Castlebrook we pride ourselves in on going research into the bloodlines we use. We screen for Health, Temperament, Working drives as well as correct conformation to the German Standards. We exclusively use Top European bloodlines. Both working lines and show lines. ALL of our dogs can work and produce solid work in their progeny. All of our breedings are well thought out and planned to compliment each other in every way. The puppies are aptitude tested at 7 weeks old. By doing this we can have a better idea on what kind of home would be ideal for each individual puppy. This also makes the changes of you bringing home the dog that you have always wanted, go WAY UP! Our goal is to bring all of the great qualities of this breed into one dog. Even though we specialize in dogs that have competition worthy drives, they also have correct and social temperaments. This means that they can go out and compete in a Schutzhund competition and still come home and lay at your feet while children play around them. Truly the ideal dog and the kind of dog the German Shepherd is suppose to be!
